On March 19, 1921 sixteen members organized The Bethlehem, Pa. Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Among them was Mrs. C. M. Dodson, a real Granddaughter (her grandfather served in the American Revolution), and 55 charter members.  Our Chapter is now over 100 years young, its members continuing its objectives of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

We meet monthly, September through May, at the DAR Memorial House in the City of Bethlehem's Rose Garden on Eighth Avenue.  During our meetings, we  conduct chapter business, host interesting speakers, and enjoy light refreshments.  Our passion is serving God, home, and country, the DAR motto. We have marked numerous Revolutionary War soldiers' graves, participated in state and national DAR service projects, attended naturalization court to welcome new American citizens, awarded Good Citizenship scholarships to local high school students, attended patriotic events, raised money for DAR-sponsored schools and other service projects.  In addition, we are the host chapter for the Nancy Hart Society, Children of the American Revolution.

Please contact us with any questions about our organization or how to join.  We would love to hear from you!
